The consequences of snooping

Admit it. At least once, you've probably thought about sneaking a look at your friend or significant other's text messages and emails to see what they might be keeping private from you.

In the back of your mind, you might wonder if your boyfriend really had to work late, or whether he went out with some friends or did something else. Or if your friend actually was too busy to meet up for dinner last weekend. But snooping through their messages may not be the way to go.

First, if you're worried this much about their honesty, there's already a trust issue there you may need to deal with eventually.

Second, if you do it and the other person finds out, there could be consequences to your relationship. Not only might you lose some of the trust they have built up with you, but they might also be hurt because you didn't trust them in the first place.

In the end, it may not be productive to start spying on your friends and loved ones. You're not James Bond, and you don't need to be. If you're still uncertain about things, don't jeopardize the trust you share. Instead, discuss your feelings with a psychic chat and see what answers you find.
