The question we all want to know when moving into any year is will this be a 'good' year? Once we have that answer, the next thing we want is a few more details but basically, that is the burning question so I will get that out of the way out front. This will not only be a good year for Librans but a very good year and let me count the ways. Firstly, for the first time in six decades Jupiter and Saturn, the two most powerful planets in the solar system and the planets that shape any year came together in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart in the closing weeks of 2020. Until then, Saturn had spent the previous three years and Jupiter the previous 12 months more focused on home and family matters but also at a tough aspect. Your home and family sector is ruled by Capricorn and this is what made 2020 such a tough year for many of us.
Saturn is the planet that can bring challenges and Jupiter opportunities so when they come together, which they did in December 2019 then challenges were always going to lead to opportunities. You had that last year when it came to the things close to home, something you will continue to benefit from but also this year, though in a very different format. Jupiter and Saturn are now in Aquarius and that is a very different experience for anyone with their Sun in Libra. Capricorn and Libra are at difficult aspects to each other so 2020 was always going to be a challenging year. Aquarius and Libra are fellow Air signs and even Saturn is going to make life easier. That makes 2021 not only a less challenging and easier year but where the focus is on matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative.
Saturn is here until 2023 but Jupiter will leave from the 14th of May to the 29th of July, returning for a second visit that will end on the 29th of December. In that time Jupiter will join Neptune in your work sector, with the planets of luck and dreams teaming up here for the first time in our lifetime. Jupiter will return three times over the course of 2021 and 2022, spending up to five months here at a time. Because Jupiter will move backwards and forwards between the two over the course of the year, this will make it easier to maintain a balance between work and play. Another noticeable difference this year is a drop in relationship tension or challenges but with it a chance to enjoy the benefits from the past.
To begin with, it is business as usual on both sides of the financial fence as you move into 2021. The last planet to leave your income sector has only been gone for a few weeks so you begin the year with a lucrative sense of direction and enough momentum to let things run their course. On the other side of the financial fence Uranus, in your financial sector from 2019 to 2026 is in retrograde motion, as he has been since last August, so there is little urgency. However, it is just a week into the year that things begin to heat up on the financial front, beginning with Mars' return to your financial sector on January 7th. Held back by a retrograde phase, Mars should have returned as early as last August but instead, finally returns in time to get this new financial year off to an empowered start.
This is Mars' first visit to your financial sector since early 2019 and he is ready to make up for lost time. Mars is the warrior planet of the cosmos and when he returns to your financial sector he will fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit, giving you the drive and confidence to take your financial power back and face any battles or challenges head on, whether of your choosing or not. It is just seven days later that Uranus will turn direct on January 14th, releasing the brakes that will allow Mars to drive things forward. Mars is only here until March 4th but what you can invest during the first two months of 2021 will create the momentum for the rest of this financial year. It is the following month that Venus will return to your financial sector, leading the way into a more mundane focus on money matters.
That period will run from the 15th of April to the 21st of May and as the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through this will be a chance to tie up loose ends after Mars time here and consolidate this into a more concise financial game plan. Meanwhile, it is in the second half of the year that you will find the most lucrative months of 2021, beginning with Venus, the planet of money's return to your income sector on December 11th and running through to Mars' departure on December 13th. With Jupiter in your work sector from the 14th of May to the 29th of July and the most active months of the year on the career front running from the 24th of April to the 22nd of July, you have time to first establish the right professional momentum.
When Jupiter returns to your romantic sector it will be to create the luckiest year for love in over a decade and when Saturn returns, it is to begin a three-year mission to take matters of the heart seriously. To have both return within days of each other, which they did just before Christmas 2020, brings the two most powerful planets in the solar system together here for the first time in six decades, making 2021 an extraordinary year for matters of the heart and all things romantic. Jupiter will come and go, as will the faster planets that visit every year but Saturn will remain a constant force, a solid and firm foundation and the structure and backbone for matters of the heart until he leaves in 2023. While Jupiter and Saturn aligned during their early days here, this was their only close encounter and throughout the year they will play very separate games.
Jupiter, who will normally spend 12 months in your romantic sector will instead cover that ground in less than five months, leaving on May 14th. Jupiter will not leave by retrograding back out but by racing through the whole length of your romantic sector, touching every Libran directly at some point. In contrast, it will take Saturn nearly two years to travel the same ground. However, a retrograde turn will bring Jupiter back for a second visit from the 29th of July to the 29th of December, where he will spend another five months. As always, the Sun will return to your romantic sector in January but it is Mercury's return on January 9th that will bring the first of the faster moving planets into play. Normally here for 14 to 15 days, a retrograde phase will keep Mercury here until the 16th of March, giving him plenty of time to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page.
The Sun is here from January 20th to February 19th but it is Venus' time here, from the 2nd of February to the 26th of February that could create the most romantically charged weeks of 2021. This is when you have Venus and Jupiter, the planets of love and luck in your romantic sector. Meanwhile, after so much focus on your relationships in 2020, Mars' departure from your relationship sector on January 7th will make way for more focus on matters of the heart. After that, the most important point of the year on the relationship front will run from the 20th of March to the 19th of April.
This is a year that will start out looking and feeling like what you would expect and where it will be business as usual for several months. For you, business as usual means Neptune keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes on the job front all year, a surge in planetary activity here in February and March and then another surge of planetary activity on the career front midyear. This is exactly what you will find as you move into 2021, with Neptune back in direct motion after his annual retrograde phase from June to November each year and slowly building up speed and momentum ahead of the Sun's return on 19th February. The one difference is that you begin the year with the dwarf planet Ceres in your work sector as well, who until leaving on 21st February is working with Neptune to update your needs and priorities on the job front.
That Ceres leaves two days after the Sun's return is a case of now that her job is done it is time to turn her needs and priorities and Neptune's dreams into reality. What follows is a short period of planetary activity on the job front as the Sun, Mercury and Venus make their annual visit to your work sector. This will begin with the Sun's return on the 19th of February and end with Mercury's departure on the 4th of April and is the busy phase as far as work and job matters are concerned and the point when a lot of momentum for the rest of the year can be gained. With Mars returning to your career sector on April 24th to begin this year's planetary activity on the career front, something that normally begins with the Sun's return in June, this is when things start to veer from the familiar pattern.
This is Mars' first visit to your career sector since 2019 and he returns to fire up your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit, as well as creating some real momentum on the job front. Mars won't leave until June 12th and with Mercury not only returning on May 4th but staying through to the 12th of July, once things start to move on April 24th they will continue to evolve until the Sun leaves on the 22nd of July. This in itself is an exciting development and an additional push that career matters don't usually get but is not the biggest development. That comes a few weeks after Mars' return to your career sector when Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion returns to your work sector on the 14th of May. Here from May 14th to July 29th, leaving but then returning on December 29th only to leave and return again in 2022, this is the first time that Jupiter and Neptune, the planets of luck and dreams have met up on the job front in our lifetime.
