What's in Store for cancer in 2023:
Money, Love, Career

The three planets that are not only set to make this a massive year professionally but also a potentially lucrative year are Jupiter, Mars and Venus, the most charismatic planets in the solar system but also planets that can get things done. All three will never be in the same place at the same time but they are all linked and it begins with starting the year with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion in your career sector. While Jupiter has only been here for 11 days as you move into 2023, he not only returned last year but spent five months before retrograding back out. While Jupiter didn’t get far and spent half of his time here last year in retrograde motion, this gave you a chance to plant seeds, lay down tracks and set things in motion that you can return to. You even had a chance to return to the drawing board.

When Jupiter returned late last year it wasn’t to take up from where he left off but for a complete do over and until leaving on 17th May he is determined to make 2023 the biggest year for professional growth and expansion in over a decade. In that time Jupiter will have a lot of support and especially when Venus returns from 20th February to 17th March. This will put the planet of desire and attraction on the same page as the planet of luck and expansion, something that can attract opportunities while giving you a better sense of what you want professionally. Venus will have been and gone by the time the Sun returns and this will have major implications just a few months later. It is while the Sun is here, from 21st March to 20th April that there will be not one but two New Moons, the first an ordinary New Moon on 22nd March and then a second one, this time a solar eclipse on 20th April.

This will bring the elements of fate and luck together, just as the planet of luck and expansion is moving into his final and most important weeks in your career sector before his departure on 17th May will bring this to a close. There will be more than enough momentum to keep the rest of this professional year on track, but it is just days later that this could start to bear fruit financially. Enter our second player Mars, who will return to your income sector for the first time in two years on 21st May. Mars is here from 21st May to 11th July but while these can be lucrative weeks, especially with Jupiter having just moved through your career sector, it is the third player that will steal the show. Venus, the planet of money will return to your income sector on 6th June to begin what can be the most lucrative 24 days of any year, except instead of leaving a retrograde turn will keep her here until 9th October. If anyone can exploit the income potential from Jupiter’s time here, Venus can. Meanwhile, Jupiter is moving on to expand your social life and your focus on friendship, teamwork and networking while Saturn will end the financial boot camp he began in 2020 on 8th March.

Cancer Money Horoscope for 2023

On the one hand, it is business as usual on both sides of the financial fence as you move into this new financial year but on the other hand, there are some exciting and even game changing developments on both sides that won’t be evident from the start. So as you move into 2023 with no planetary activity in your income sector and with Saturn still keeping a tight fist on money matters you will assume that nothing has changed and for now you are right, but this is one year when you can’t judge a book by its covers. While the Sun and the faster planets travel quickly through the heavens Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos has been in your financial sector since 2020, creating what can be some of the most challenging but also the most empowering years on the financial front in decades. You may have been through a financial boot camp over recent years, but you are about to graduate, fully prepared to take your financial power back.

Saturn won’t leave your financial sector until 8th March but once he does, it will be another three decades before he is back. Until then there is a lot of support to make these final months count. Venus, the planet of money will move through from 3rd January to 27th January and while only here for a few weeks she can fuel your financial confidence, update your financial desires and expectations for the coming year and use Saturn’s power to move mountains to your advantage. The Sun, as is always the case, will keep the solar spotlight on your financial sector from 20th January to 19th February with Mercury, held back by a retrograde phase making a late return on 12th February. Mercury will be here until 3rd March, giving you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and to update your financial game plan and resolutions for this new financial year just five days before Saturn leaves.

This will leave your financial sector empty for the first time since 2020 but not for long with Pluto, the planet of change and revolution returning on 24th March for the first time in our lifetime. Pluto will retrograde back out on 11th June, but he is preparing the way for big changes and his return in January 2024 and a journey that won’t see him eventually leave until 2044. Meanwhile, the first planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence gets off with a bang with Mars’ return on 21st May, with the warrior planet of the cosmos waging war on glass ceilings and urging you to fight for what you deserve before leaving on 11th July. However, the game changer is Venus planet of money’s return on 6th June for what can be the most lucrative weeks of any year. Instead, a retrograde turn will keep Venus here until 9th October, in what will be her longest visit in our lifetime and the most lucrative months of 2023.

Cancer Love Horoscope for 2023

Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your relationship sector, the solar spotlight is always on your relationships as you move into any new year. You also begin the year with Venus, the planet of love in your relationship sector and as she will leave on 3rd January it is important to listen to your heart from the start, for once she is gone she won’t be back until 2024. The Sun will stay on until 20th January and while this will take the solar spotlight off your relationships Mercury, the planet of communication isn’t done yet. Having returned in early December 2022 for what is normally a 14 to 15 day visit, a retrograde turn has kept Mercury here and with it, support to keep the communication lines open.

Mercury begins the year in retrograde motion and until turning direct on 11th January is more focused on giving the past and unsaid words a voice. Until leaving on 11th February Mercury is giving the communication lines a massive boost in the first two months of the year and the timing couldn’t be better, for it is the following month that Pluto will leave. Pluto, the planet of change and revolution has been in your relationship sector since 2008, with his departure on 24th March leaving it empty for the first time in over 14 years. This is more a break, with Pluto retrograding back in on 11th June, though leaving again next January. This will give Mercury, who will return again on 2nd December and the Sun on 22nd December a chance to work with Pluto one last time.

A Full Moon in your relationship sector on 3rd July will be a chance to check in on how your relationships are going. Meanwhile, while the first planetary activity on the romantic front doesn’t begin until when Mars returns to your romantic sector for the first time in two years on 12th October, a romantically charged Full Moon on 6th March will give things a boost. As a lunar eclipse, this will have a lot more influence while Venus, the planet of love’s return to Cancer just two days later can keep the spirit of romance alive. Venus is making an early return this year and moving through from 8th May to 6th June she will have left weeks before your birthday month and new solar year even begins. This means Venus will be late returning to your romantic sector this year, keeping what Mars begins on 12th October fuelled right through to when she ends all planetary activity here on 30th December.

Cancer Career Horoscope for 2023

As you move into this new professional year while Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion has only been here for 11 days, this is something that you have spent months preparing for. Jupiter first returned to your career sector in May 2022 to begin what should have been the start of your biggest year for professional growth and expansion in over a decade and while that is still the case, he is taking a roundabout route and it is only now that you will start to see evidence of this. It was less than two months after returning that Jupiter turned retrograde, something that not only saw him retrograde back out last October but before he got too far. You may not have made progress last year but what you have done is plant seeds, lay tracks and explore your options, ready for Jupiter’s return. This is where things stand as you move into 2023, with Jupiter not only taking off from where he left off but starting over again, this time with everything prepared and ready to go.

Jupiter will rush through in less than five months and he will be burning rubber throughout that time, with no stops and no detours until leaving on 17th May. It was 12 months earlier that Jupiter returned to begin your biggest year for professional growth and expansion in over a decade, but everything is being packed into these final months and it comes with a lot of support. The first planet to reach Jupiter will be Venus, who will move through from 20th February to 12th March, bringing the planet of desire and attraction together with the planet of luck and expansion to create what could be some of the best weeks of this professional year. The Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options from 21st March to 20 April and Mercury will make it easier to keep your head in the game when he moves through from 19th March to 20th April.

What will give Jupiter’s final months an additional boost is having not one but two New Moons. The first, on 22nd March, is an ordinary New Moon and will always be a good time for new beginnings, but the second on 20th April is a solar eclipse, something that can bring the elements of fate and luck together. With Jupiter leaving on 17th May this will give these final weeks a boost. It is once Jupiter is gone that the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos will quietly keep the wheels turning, after a thrust that will not only benefit the rest of this professional year but for years to come. Meanwhile, while there is continuous planetary activity on the career front all year, from Mercury’s return to your work sector on 10th November to Venus’ departure on 23rd January 2024 you will have a parade of planets firing things up on the job front including Mars, who from 24th November to 5th January 2024 will make his first visit to your work sector in two years, ending this professional year and beginning the next on a high note.
